The challenge

A business manufactured high-end campervans and recreational vehicles. A secured creditor had advanced funds which the company was unable to repay.

The response 

We were appointed as Receiver and Manager to the company and we were required to trade the business for two months, deal with and adjudicate on conflicting ownership issues surrounding plant and equipment and Intellectual Property, whilst conducting a sale of business marketing campaign.

The process involved the realisation of a large quantity of specialised plant equipment and it was also necessary to liaise with major car industry suppliers with respect to ongoing supply of goods.

The result

The business was sold which resulted in no employee redundancies, all customer orders being fulfilled and the majority of the secured debt being repaid
